Your experience starts with a dedicated Account Manager. This Account Manager interacts and supports coordination across the Cat® dealer network. Our team has the expertise, network, and holistic view of Caterpillar and the Cat dealer network to ensure your success. By serving you as a true partner, we provide sustainable solutions to reduce your total cost of ownership and connect you to the right digital tools to support that experience.

Through this relationship, Caterpillar brings you the most customized solutions, services, and support based on your specific needs, all while providing a consistent customer experience across Cat dealers. In some partnerships, both organizations establish a common framework agreement to enable alignment and achieve your goals. These agreements drive consistency, outline rules of engagement, and provide assurances that Caterpillar is committed to your long-term growth.

Caterpillar Managed Accounts offers simplified fleet planning and management options. Our tools provide proactive recommendations based on application, history, and insights to help you find sustainable solutions. Leverage technologies such as VisionLink® and Condition Monitoring to manage your fleet and lower your total cost of ownership.

Condition Monitoring is designed to work with your entire fleet. Built on five key foundational elements, it provides real-time information and expert insights from Cat dealers. These elements include:

  • Cat S•O•SSM Services — Rely on one of our 90+ labs to give you an inside look at your coolant, oil, and fuel to identify small issues before they become big repairs.
  • Inspections — Use the Cat Inspect app to assign, conduct, and review inspections for any equipment. Cat Inspect integrates with many of our tools, including VisionLink.
  • Electronic Data — Various sensors and Cat Product Link hardware to gather, analyze, and interpret data, which flows into our VisionLink platform to generate insights that keep your equipment healthy and on the job. Multiple VisionLink subscription options are available to meet your needs.
  • Site Conditions — Your productivity and efficiency are dependent upon operation and maintenance practices, site conditions, climate, and seasonal factors. Cat experts can help evaluate all these factors to help control costs, improve performance, and reduce risks.
  • Repair History — Get the most from your equipment by understanding and analyzing where it has been. We look at maintenance schedules, rebuild history, service reports, and more. 

We even offer the option of Remote Fleet Monitoring through the Caterpillar Fleet Monitoring Center.  Your Cat dealer and the Caterpillar Fleet Monitoring Center (FMC) team do the heavy lifting — keeping on top of asset performance and health — so you can focus on running your business.  Feel confident about your fleet management strategy with the outcome-based solutions from the FMC:

  • Control Costs — Perform maintenance when it’s needed, not too soon or too late.  Identify areas where you can reduce idle time and fuel burn.
  • Improve Performance — Allocate assets more efficiently to boost production and efficiency. Determine the ideal time to upgrade or replace older equipment. 
  • Reduce Risks — Avoid safety incidents resulting from equipment or component failure.

CONSISTENT SUPPORT TAILORED TO YOUR ORGANIZATION

Get customized and consistent support for all levels of your organization from the Cat dealer network, Caterpillar leaders, industry experts, and specialists. We provide prioritized machine and parts availability but go well beyond that. 

  • Cat Certified Rebuilds (CCR). A CCR can be a cost-effective option to assist in lifecycle planning and extend your equipment life. Our team will help create a plan for your entire fleet, focusing on every serial number down to the component level. We use a four-step process:

    • Plan — We assess whether current equipment meets production needs, identify which assets are under-performing, and determine if there are any prior maintenance or repair records.

    • Evaluate — We look at your existing fleet to see if any assets would benefit from a rebuild.

    • Pipeline — We ensure there’s a plan in place to prioritize upcoming rebuilds.

    • Execute — We create inspection, machine quote, inventory, and service plans by serial number to ensure your uptime is managed appropriately.
  • Remanufactured Products — A critical piece of both CCRs and standard repairs are remanufactured parts and components. Cat Reman parts and components are delivered in ‘same-as-new’ condition, giving you a more affordable option along with warranty coverage.

  • Customer Value Agreements (CVA) — CVAs extend equipment life and maximize your investment by providing hassle-free ownership and maintenance.  You get the security and peace of mind that expert Cat dealer support brings to your equipment health management. 

  • Cat Job Site Solutions (JSS) — JSS drives operational efficiencies for your site, whether it be proprietary technology and fleet knowledge, data access and analysis, remote monitoring, or simple application and technical expertise. It all begins with a formal plan of action with defined outcomes. Then, we help you execute.
     
ACCESS TO A SUITE OF INTEGRATED DIGITAL RESOURCES

Whether your needs are safety, training, or operations related, we have a variety of digital tools and apps to assist you.

Our eCommerce solutions make it quick and easy to order replacement parts.

  • Cat Integrated Procurement (Cat IP) allows your purchase order system to import shopping carts from the Cat dealer parts catalog and SIS web to enable faster, more accurate creation of purchase orders. Caterpillar provides project management for new integrations and will conduct onsite training to support process adoption.

  • Parts.cat.com (PCC) is built for convenience. Find parts, parts books, preventative maintenance lists, and place orders to your Cat dealer 24/7. PCC can even be configured to receive dealer quotes and manage purchasing approval flows upon request.

  • Cat Peijian is our eCommerce solution for China. Peijian provides online parts ordering to customers in mainland China and offers user-friendly features such as mobile registration, WeChat Pay, and Alipay.
