Component Plus coverage includes:

• Air compressor – housing and internal components
• Cylinder head – casting, valves and springs, excluding camshaft and rocker arms
• Injector set – a complete set of injectors purchased together
• Long block – cylinder block and head, crankshaft, camshaft, pistons, connecting rods, timing gears, lifters and oil cooler
• Oil cooler – the housing and internal components
• Short block – block, crankshaft and pistons
• Turbocharger(s) – housing and internal components
• Water pump – housing and impeller

Overhaul kit Extended Service Coverage (ESC) for Cat on-highway truck engines covers the components included in the purchased kit. With this option, 24-, 36- and 48-month terms are available with unlimited miles, no hour limitations and $0 deductible.

Precious Metals Kit coverage includes:

• Bronze kit – complete set of seals and gaskets, bearings and thermostats
• Silver kit – bronze kit plus six pistons, rings, pins and retainers
• Gold kit – bronze kit plus piston packs
• Platinum kit, heavy-duty – gold kit plus injectors, cylinder head, water pump and oil pump
• Platinum kit, medium-duty – gold kit plus injectors, cylinder head, water pump, oil pump and bare block
• Titanium kit, medium duty – bronze kit plus Cat Reman long block and injectors
• HEUI^™ kit, medium duty – injectors, HEUI pump, IAP sensor, seals and O-rings

Coverage for new Cat Reman on-highway truck engines with options for 36- and 48-month terms at either $0 or $250 deductible per failure.

Cat Reman engine coverages includes:

• ESC Plus (major engine components) and optional components:
  • Air compressor

  • Turbocharger(s)
  • Water pump

Engine applications excluded: military, modified from Cat specifications, off road or non-on-highway.
