TUCSON, Ariz., September 21, 2024 – Part of Caterpillar’s Equipment Training Solutions’ comprehensive training approach, the new Cat® Simulators Collaborative Worksite Training™ package, developed by Simformotion™, teaches operators how to work together as a team. The new program, being unveiled at MINExpo, connects a Cat 6060 hydraulic mining shovel and 793 mining truck in a collaborative working environment, adding a level of human interaction and a more real-life feel for the load/haul cycle, without the fear of causing harm to themselves, others or the equipment.
