Celebrating a Century of Excellence at Bauma

Throughout our Centennial year, we are celebrating our legacy, while – as importantly – looking forward to our next 100 years. Our once-in-100-year-milestone will be brought to life in numerous ways, including in grand fashion at bauma – the world's leading trade fair for construction machinery. The Caterpillar team is looking forward to celebrating this achievement with our customers, dealers, employees, industry partners, and fans of the brand.

At bauma, we will feature tributes to our history and a peek into our bright yellow future. Visitors will learn about the latest machines, technologies, and services that we offer across industries. So, what can you expect to see at the bauma Caterpillar stand in Hall B6?
We are thrilled to bring to the floor a vintage Cat Sixty from the Switzerland company, Eberhard – a family owned-business for more than 70 years. Among their construction ventures, they also operate a museum featuring vintage heavy machinery, like the Cat Sixty. The Cat Sixty exemplifies our brand promise that machine reliability and durability lead to a longer productive life that delivers value from day one and years and years to come. Check out this video for more on this ground-breaking machine. Thank you to Eberhard and their collaboration in bringing this incredible display to the bauma show floor.
As part of our exhibit, we will also feature the new Centennial Limited Edition D6 featuring the iconic “Centennial Grey” paint scheme – reflecting Cat’s original paint color. The Limited Edition line includes Caterpillar 100 Years markings, a commemorative interior plate, and the iconic, original Caterpillar logo in red.
“It is fitting to celebrate a century of Cat innovation and technological excellence on a world-class stage like bauma, the premier trade fair for our industry,” said Rogier Tonies, Global Construction Industries Product Application Manager. “As we mark this milestone, we look forward to showcasing not only our rich legacy of leadership but also the groundbreaking advancements that will shape the future of our industry on a global scale.”
Seeing our advanced machines in their original paint scheme is a striking tribute that we are excited to share with our operators and fans. It perfectly combines the paved road of the past with the cutting-edge technology found under the hood of our machines today.
If you have been with us at bauma before, you know that our presence at a trade show is nothing short of exciting, inspiring, and hands-on! This year, Cat will feature a dynamic offering of extensive technology products for the construction and quarry industries. Cat stand visitors will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the latest, cutting-edge products in Cat Command, VisionLink, and the transformative onboard technology portfolio.
To round out the Caterpillar Centennial experience, be sure to check out our must-see Centennial-themed entertainment program that will run each hour at the stand’s main stage.
